-The Story of Pawttery Bliss-

Back in India, I spent much of my time rescuing and caring for animals. Being around them has always given me a sense of peace and purpose. Among all the souls I crossed paths with, there was one who left the deepest mark on my heart—a gentle street dog named Mercy.

I first met Mercy while returning home after tutoring sessions during my architecture studies. She would wag her tail with joy and run toward me every time I brought her biscuits. One day, though, she didn’t get up. Instead, she lay there, in visible pain. As I got closer, I realized she had a tumor.

Determined to help, I started asking around to learn more about her. Mercy often slept outside a house where bowls of water were placed for street dogs. Believing the family inside might know her story, I knocked on the door. That was the moment my life shifted—the door opened, and I met Swapnil’s mother, who told me that her sons were the ones who cared for those street dogs. Not long after, I saw Swapnil for the first time.

Though Mercy’s life was heartbreakingly short—she passed away that same year in 2018—her presence was no accident. She was the reason Swapnil and I crossed paths. In 2019, a few months after losing her, Swapnil and I began our journey together. Mercy, in her quiet yet powerful way, became the bridge between us.

In 2025, I founded Pawttery Bliss as a tribute to Mercy and all the sentient beings who have shaped my life. It’s not just about clay, or art—it’s about creating with heart. Every piece is inspired by the love, loyalty, and soulful connection animals gift us. Pawttery Bliss is my way of keeping Mercy’s spirit alive while spreading joy, healing, and love through art.

To me, Mercy wasn’t just a dog—she was destiny.
